Swarms of earthquakes happening south of the San Andreas, three over a 4.2 magnitude in an hour.

Wednesday evening from around 4:30 p.m. to 6:05 p.m. there has been a 4.4, 4.9, and most currently a 4.2 magnitude. https://folderdownload-missioncontrolmacbookprotouchbar.peatix.com.

According to Dr. Lucy Jones, Seismologist, Founder & Chief Scientist at her center, they are too far from the San Andreas to change the probability of a quake on it.

The largest event so far occurred at 5:31 pm at M4.9. Previous swarms in this area have had maximum magnitude anywhere from M3.5 to M5.8. Most of these bigger events have been on NE-striking faults
